Founding Customer Success team Member

Who are we?
With Pyn, employees get the messages they need at just the right moment. This creates a one-of-a-kind, engaging employee experience.
We do this by providing companies with tools for targeted, tailored employee communications.
Our founders are Jon Williams and Joris Luijke. Jon previously co-founded the technology company Culture Amp. Joris helped scale the culture of Atlassian and Squarespace when leading their People Function.
You'll be working closely with our Head of Customer Success, Julianna Kapjian-Pitt, who helped to build Customer Success at Culture Amp.
Pyn is backed by Accel (an early investor in Facebook and Slack) and Andreessen Horowitz (an early investor in Airbnb and Okta).
Pyn is based in Australia and in the United States, and we have customers across the globe.
While we work remotely, we still love to get together when we can. We're looking for a team member based on the West Coast of the US to have good overlap with the Australian Eastern timezone.
As a Customer Success team member, you’ll be responsible for helping our customers shine within their organization. You will also help the product meet our customers' needs by sharing their feedback with our product team.
Our Customer Success team onboards, trains, and maintains great relationships with our customers. No task is too small. Whether it's capturing customer feedback or helping to troubleshoot a technical issue, we're here to help our customers!
As a founding team member, you'll work alongside our Head of Customer Success to define and develop the strategy to deliver a fantastic customer experience.
You'll also work closely with our Engineering team to help shape the product based on your conversations with customers.
What we offer
At Pyn you will:
Onboard new customers by leading the kick-off process, providing proactive strategic advice, and responding to customer questions in a timely manner - all by bringing in the right Pyn resources along the way
Be the voice of the customer by taking what you've learned from working with customers and helping to build the product they're asking us for
Become a Pyn product expert and work with Engineering to resolve technical issues for customers in a timely manner
Help shape what a successful onboarding looks like for customers as the product continues to evolve
Build our growing team by helping with hiring, shaping strategy, and implementing new processes
Our team is small, so you'll also be involved in pre-sales things like demos and legal contracts. Likely, that will become less over time (unless you really love it)!

While we don't have strict requirements for the role, we are looking for someone based on the West Coast of the US and someone with SaaS / Customer Success experience.
