List of Gainsight Sub-Processors

Gainsight, Inc. (“Gainsight,” “Our” or “We”) uses the third-party companies below (each, a “Sub-processor”) to process personal data on behalf of Gainsight’s clients (each, a “Client” and collectively, the “Clients”) in support of the provision of certain Gainsight subscription and professional services subscribed to by a Client (collectively, the “Services”). Gainsight has carried out due diligence on each Sub-processor to ensure that it can provide sufficient guarantees to protect the privacy and security of the data they process on our behalf, including by performing a security review and data protection impact assessment (DPIA).
Gainsight has entered into a written agreement with each Sub-processor that imposes data protection obligations no less protective of personal data than those set out in our agreement with our Clients, and which incorporate the 2021 EU standard contractual clauses. This agreement, among other things, requires the applicable Sub-processor to process personal data only on our documented instructions, to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data they process on our behalf, and to assist us in meeting our obligations under applicable data privacy laws.
We have also conducted a Transfer Impact Assessment (TIA) where relationships with Sub-processors would result in a cross-border transfer of personal data, and in view of the personal data transferred, the appropriate safeguards implemented by the applicable Sub-processor, as well as the applicable Sub-processor’s practical experience dealing with government access requests, we have concluded that the risk of proceeding with the transfer is low.
Gainsight will also provide its Clients with notice of any new Sub-processors in accordance with and where required by the applicable agreement between Gainsight and the Client. We will make updates to this Sub-processor list via this website.
Third-Party Sub-processors
The list below sets forth the Sub-processors that we currently use to deliver the following Services: Gainsight Customer Success (CS), Gainsight Product Experience (PX), Customer Community (CC) and Customer Education (CE). Please note that the specific Sub-processors that are used to process personal data will depend on which Service the specific Client has subscribed to.
