MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA–(Marketwired – Jan 24, 2014) –
Gainsight, the leading Customer Success Management solution, today announced that it has been named to Forbes Magazine’s list of America’s Most Promising Companies. The annual list recognizes the top 100 companies that possess high growth, a strong management team and investors, market size and notable customers and partners.
“We are honored to be named to Forbes’ Most Promising Companies list,” said Nick Mehta, CEO of Gainsight. “This recognition is a great validation of Gainsight’s dedicated team, our leading Customer Success Management solution and our rapidly expanding customer and partner base, all of which contribute to the success of the company. We’re proud to deliver a solution which is truly meeting companies’ needs — to reduce churn, increase upsell and as a result, contribute to companies’ bottom line.”
At the forefront of a dramatic shift in the way organizations harness data to manage customer success, Gainsight has experienced a surge in companies — including Angie’s List, Castlight Health, Informatica and Marketo — turning to Customer Success Management (CSM) and Gainsight as the foundation for building a customer-centric culture across their entire organizations. Designed to make Customer Success Management an integral part of how the entire enterprise operates, Gainsight delivers a 360 degree view into the health and engagement of an organization’s customer base through existing data. Because Gainsight looks at all of the touchpoints in a customer relationship, not just individual attributes like product or feature usage or survey responses, users get a complete picture of each customer across the customer lifecycle.
Forbes Methodology
Forbes’ third annual list of America’s Most Promising Companies recognizes 100 privately-held, high-growth companies. Companies that made the cut boast compelling business models, strong management teams, as well as notable customers and investors.
Forbes strove for a holistic gauge of young, privately-held businesses, attempting to pin down their trajectories by taking a range of variables into account. Over the course of four months Forbes reviewed hundreds of applications. The final assessment is based on growth (both in sales and hiring), quality of management teams and investors, margins, market size and key partnerships. After verifying sales numbers, speaking with each company and debating their merits and blemishes, Forbes produces a final ranking.
