VP of Customer Success
LeanData is revolutionizing enterprise Sales and Marketing Operations to help businesses accelerate their sales velocity and make the most of their marketing spend.
As our first VP of Customer Success, you will lead a team of Customer Success Managers and form executive relationships with LeanData’s clients. You’ll grow and develop a highly-skilled team as our organization rapidly scales.
Your team will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are continuously receiving and recognizing value from LeanData. The ultimate goal of the Customer Success team is to deliver our mission of “Making Everyone an OpsStar” and creating experiences that transcend the standard customer-vendor relationship.
This position reports to our Chief Customer Officer and is based in Sunnyvale, CA.
What you’ll be doing:
Manage the day-to-day operations of a growing team of Customer Success Managers
Develop proactive customer strategies to ensure high-end service delivery and competitive differentiation that increases renewal rates
Influence growth through higher product adoption and customer satisfaction
Develop a thorough understanding of our products and pricing structure
Oversee tough negotiations, escalations, and strategic decision making
Act as an internal spokesperson for the CS organization
Contribute to the company’s overall development
15+ years of customer-facing experience in a tech environment
3+ years managing, hiring, and retaining a team of customer success managers to support a SaaS model
Experience overseeing forecasts, budgets, and client negotiations
Excellent customer relationship management skills with the ability to manage complex organizations and executive relationships
Domain expertise in GTM planning, sales or marketing operations a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical abilities
